Our history

A need for Christ-centered education.

Valley Christian School was created in 1979 by a group of families attending Valley Bible Church in San Marcos. They felt the need to provide a Christ-centered education for their families and offer an alternative to the local public school system. With a focus on Biblical principles and a Christian philosophy of education, VCS became a nurturing environment offering the quality education that parents desire for their children.

We value the partnership teachers have with parents in equipping students to become leaders, to serve God and their families, and to positively impact their communities and the world.
