Admissions and Enrollment
VCS takes a comprehensive look at all applicants for admissions with the goal of identifying the most capable and highly motivated students — students who will embrace Biblical truth, strive for academic excellence, and model Christ-like behavior in order to influence their homes, churches, and communities for Christ.
Each applicant file includes an application, church affiliation form, a transcript of academic record which includes standardized test scores, and a summary of the familyl interview.
Students of all backgrounds are welcomed at Valley Christian Schools although we do not enroll international students.
It is important to note that our class sizes are limited due to our desire to provide the highest quality educational experience for our students.
Please note: students entering kindergarten must turn 5 by September 1, 2025.
Parents and potential students are encouraged to visit the campus for a tour. Upon completing the tour, the following steps for admissions are required: :
Complete the enrollment packet (found under the admissions tab) which include the
registration form
Personal testimony form (see criteria below)
records release (students incoming grades 1-8)
Schedule a family interview with the front office
Submit the enrollment packet
Accept your offer of enrollment and pay the registration fee
Students entering after kindergarten or transferring from other schools will take a placement test within a month of acceptance to ensure proper grade placement.
The following criteria will be used when evaluating students who apply to Valley Christian Schools. To be considered for enrollment, the student must meet the following standards:
Student and parents must agree with the mission and statement of faith.
Student must want to attend Valley Christian and demonstrate an aptitude to meet the school’s expectations.
VCS is a covenant Christian school. This means that a member(s) of each family that attends VCS must know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. This includes:
For students entering middle school (6-8):
Middle school students and parents must have a written personal Christian testimony form on file.
For students entering K-5:
K-5 parents must have a personal Christian testimony form on file.
Enrollment at VCS during one school year does not guarantee enrollment for the following year. If there are areas of concern, the principal will meet with the family to discuss the student’s re-enrollment.
Valley Christian School admits students of any race, nationality, or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to the students. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, national, or ethnic origin in administration of its education policies, extracurricular activities, and other school-administered programs. VCS reserves the right to select students on the basis of academic performance, Christian commitment, lifestyle choices, and personal qualifications including a willingness to cooperate with the administration and school policies.
Please note that VCS does not currently offer resources for students with IEPs, 504 plans, or similar accommodations. Parents seeking support for such students may wish to explore other educational options.
